Web Designer
& Figma Specialist.
At Abbreva, a Web Designer & Figma Specialist designs the interfaces of websites on Drupal, a content management system (CMS), and sets up design systems. We’re looking for a designer who works in Figma systematically, understands how a website works in the browser, and can hand work off to developers. From updating an existing project to setting up an entire design system. A design system is a kit of building blocks for assembling all of a website’s pages.

What you’ll do.
- Respond quickly to requests on existing projects.
- Design UI for new web projects in Figma, from wireframe to handoff to developers.
- Set up and extend design systems: components, tokens, states, and variants.
- Prepare graphic assets for the website and advertising campaigns, such as banners.
- Work with front-end developers on handoff, clearly and with respect for what’s technically possible.
- Bring your own ideas that fit the project’s established standards.
Who we’re looking for.
What we need
- Figma is your natural environment: auto layout, components, variants, styles, and tokens.
- You have a portfolio of web projects that also shows how you arrived at each solution.
What we appreciate
- You understand how the web works, what can realistically be coded, and how design affects page performance.
- You’re systematic: you name your layers and keep your project organized.
- You work independently and also welcome feedback.

- Websites and design systems on Drupal. We work for clients such as Knight Frank and the Moravian Library (Moravská zemská knihovna).
- Our own tool, Abbreva build interface, keeps the client’s design intact even when development is AI-assisted.
