Product Owner
& Tech Lead.
At Abbreva, the Product Owner & Tech Lead makes sure that what gets developed is what the client needs and that it holds up technically. Like a site supervisor who knows both the plan and the structural engineering. We’re looking for someone who understands technology, can lead people, and sees a project through to the end. You don’t have to write code every day. But you do need to know how Drupal, a content management system (CMS), works, what makes sense, and where the risks are.

- Full-time employment or contractor
- Prague 5, regular on-site presence
- Some work remotely by arrangement
- Compensation based on experience, mid-level to senior
What you’ll do
Every request carries the same ID from brief to deployment. There’s one process: estimate, approval, development, review, deployment.
- Independently drive projects on Drupal and PHP from technical design to launch.
- Design the architecture of new websites and manage changes to existing ones.
- Estimate the effort and technical feasibility of projects.
- Consult with clients on solutions and be a clear bridge between code and business.
- Coordinate back end, front end, and UX, and talk directly with the CEO.
- Lead development with the help of AI tools, such as Claude Code, and assess what the AI proposes.
Who we’re looking for
- You have real web projects behind you as a developer, tech lead, or project lead with a technical background.
- You know PHP, and ideally Drupal too.
- You can picture a system: data structures, workflow, and dependencies between modules.
- You communicate directly with clients, the CEO, and colleagues on the team.
- AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Claude Code) aren’t new to you.
